A rare sapphire-mounted reliquary pendant of hexagonal section; the back missing; finely engraved with the Nativity scene, the Trinity above, formerly enamelled; the suspension loop with cabochon sapphire set in a square claw collet; the sides inscribed in black letter script 'me tibi virgo pia genetrix [...]ista Maria'.
