English Medieval - 'Sterling' Jeton

C. 13th century AD. Sterling type of Edward I period. Obv: facing bust cinquefoil to each side of neck with alternating large pellets and rosettes in place of legend with usual depression at centre of flan. Rev: long cross moline with pellet in each curl and rosette of six pellets in each angle with single rosette in each quarter in place of legend.
