Circa late 17th century AD. A gold finger ring with a legend inscribed around the interior in italic script: 'The gift of a frend'.

Measurements:
0.93 grams, internal 14.02 mm.

Condition:
Extremely fine condition, a wearable example with finely executed inscription.
