491-518 AD, Constantinople mint. Obv: D N ANASTA-SIVS P P AVG legend with helmeted and cuirassed bust, three-quarters facing to right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with horseman spearing a fallen enemy. Rev: VICTORI-A AVGGG legend and officina letter gamma, Victory standing left, holding staff surmounted by reversed P; star in left field; mintmark CONOB.
Measurements:
4.45 grams.

Extremely fine, near as struck.
