BANK OF IRELAND - 6 SHILLINGS - CONTEMPORARY COUNTERFEIT

Dated 1804. Contemporary cast counterfeit in base metal with much original silvering. Obv: laureate bust right with GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX legend. Rev: Hibernia seated right with BANK OF IRELAND TOKEN legend above and 1804 SIX SHILLINGS below. Interesting. 18.79 grams. Fine and better.
