Description:
C. 810-815 AD. Group II, Transitional Monogram. Obv: facing tonsured bust of Archbishop Wulfred without pellet to each side and +VVLFREDI ARCHIEPISCOPI legend. Rev: DOROBERNIA C monogram with +SAEBERHT MONETA legend for the moneyer Sæbeorht at Canterbury mint.
Measurements:
1.39 grams.
Condition:
Very fine, reverse a little weak.
