BRITISH ANGLO-SAXON - SERIES D, TYPE 2C - VARIANT SCEATTA

C. 680-710 AD. Series D, Type 2c Sceatta. Obv: unusual crude pelleted bust right with uncertain letters in front and behind. Rev: pellet-ended cross with a pellet in each angle with symbols and letters around. 1.12 grams. Extremely fine.
