BRITISH CELTIC - EARLY UNINSCRIBED - REMIC STATER
(5.89 grams.).

1st century BC. Obv: blank. Rev: triple tailed horse right, wheel below. Very fine.

Found Selsey, 1921; SCMB, August 1949, p. 387, no G743; Glendining 25th September 1968, lot 4.

FOOTNOTES:
According to SCMB entry, this coin was 'found at Selsey in 1921 about 30 yards from the new lifeboat slip and one yard from cliff'.
