Description:
Circa 45,000 BCE. Middle Palaeolithic. Ovate form of roughly triangular cross-section with one side almost flat; the original flint pale grey in colour with orange-brown patination typical of river gravels; knapping of good quality.
Measurements:
120 mm; 305 grams.
Condition:
Fine with some small modern(?) chips to edges.
