Description:
C. 895-902 AD. Viking Coinage, Cnut Group. Obv: small cross pattee with pellet in 2nd and 4th angles and having +CVN ET TI legend with trefoils separating. Rev: C N V T at ends of long cross crosslet with R E X in angles.

Measurements:
1.30 grams.

Condition:
Good very fine and toned.

Provenance:
The tone and colour reminiscent of coins from the Cuerdale Hoard but no confirmed provenance for this coin.
