Bronze Age - Luristan Dagger with Stone Pommel > Lot No. 802

Description:
Circa 3rd millenium BC. The broad blade with central raised rib and with integral square section hilt and quillon. Fitted with a heavy stone pommmel, secured to the hilt tang with a large bronze washer in the form of a stylized flower.

Measurements:
660 grams, 42 cm overall.

Condition:
Fine, uncleaned with good patina.
