Bronze Age - Luristan Dirk with Stone Pommel > Lot No. 803

Description:
Circa 3rd millenium BC. The blade with central raised rib and with separate hollow perforated hilt and crescent quillon (with traces of fabric/leather present). Fitted with a heavy limestone pommmel, secured to the hilt tang with a large bronze circular washer.

Measurements:
620 grams, 47 cm overall.

Condition:
Fine, uncleaned with good patina. Scarce type.
