Description:
C. 1st century BC. Continental origin 'North Thames' Type. Obv: wreath and crescents. Rev: horse right with horned serpent above, double crescent as sideways S below and pellet in circle connected to chest of horse by zigzag line in front.
Measurements:
1.39 grams.
Condition:
Very fine.

Comments notes:
This type apparently the prototype for the British 'North Thames' type, as can be seen by comapring with V.228.
