DANISH NEOLITHIC - 'BOAT-SHAPED' STONE AXE HAMMER

Circa 2,800-2,400 BC. A Danish 'Single Grave Culture' stone axe hammer of typical 'boat' shape form, with cylinder perforation and fine polishing to the sides towards the cutting edge. 115mm. Very fine and undamaged. Slight evidence of usage wear to the working surface of the hammer end.
