Early Celtic Iron Age - Hallstatt - Decorated Arm Ring > Lot No. 824
Description:
Circa 8th to 6th centuries BC. Diamond cross-section copper-alloy band extending to flattened terminals, each decorated with a group of four carefully incised parallel lines; the rest of the outer face embelished with a repeating herringbone pattern of between three and seven v-shaped incised lines in each group.
Measurements:
90 grams, 101 mm.
Condition:
Extremely fine with a beautiful smooth patination.
