Description:
C. 13th century AD. Copper-alloy copy of Edward I period penny. Obv: crude facing bust with trifoliate crown with +IDWN[ ] legend. Rev: long cross with three pellets in each angle dividing CIVI TAS IOD NOL legend, the mint name (London) retrograde with some letters reversed. Interesting.
