Description:
315-294 BC. Imitative of Amphipolis mint. Obv: no legend, head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: ALEXANDROU, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre. A over torch in left field (instead of Lamda over torch), star over M beneath chair. The letter on the left is definitely an A as can be seen by comparing it with the two As of AlexAndrou. The N of the legend is not as it should be, the folds of his chlamys on his right knee are too linear, his drawn back right foot looks crippled or half missing.
