Description:
Circa 1st century BC. A pair of fine gold earrings each formed of a gold wire hoop, ornamented with applied wire and a pellet below; the central motif of a piriform gold cell supported upon a cross plate and with inset garnet.

Measurements:
4.43 grams (total), 27 mm tall.

Condition:
Extremely fine.
