ENGLISH MEDIEVAL HENRY III - CANTERBURY/NICOLE - CLASS 4AB LONG CROSS PENNY
(1.40 grams.).

1250-1251 AD. Class 4ab (REX under sceptre). Obv: facing bust with sceptre and HENRICVS REX III legend. Rev: long voided cross and pellets with NICOLEONCANT legend for the moneyer Nicole at Canterbury mint. Good very fine; rare, this type only known at Canterbury.
