NEAR EASTERN LURISTAN BRONZE BULL-HEADED VASE
BRONZE AGE, 1250-650 BC
13" (2.7 kg, 33 cm).

A hollow-cast piriform vase with slender tubular neck and flared rim, conical base; the body with rows of advancing bovines in high relief, alternating heads modelled in the round.

PROVENANCE:
Property of a London gentleman; acquired before 1975.
