Description:
After 168 BC, Macedonia Under Roman rule, Amphipolis, first region. Obv: Macedonian shield ornamented with stars in double crescents and grouped pellets between; in tondo, draped bust of Artemis right, wearing stephane and pendant earring, bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev: MAKEDONWN PRWTHS legend above and beneath horizontal club, AYP monogram above, all within oak wreath, thunderbolt outside wreath to left.
Measurements:
16.74 grams.
Condition:
Good very fine, reverse better.
