Description:
Circa 1300-1400 AD. A gold finger ring, the slender hoop expanding to the floriate shoulders and thence to the quatrefoil cell bezel, the faces of which are delicately engraved with scrolls.

Measurements:
2.45 grams, 22.63 mm, internal 17.90 mm.

Condition:
Very fine; original stone now missing (the stone easily replaceable).

Found Bignor, Sussex, 2009. Disclaimed under Treasure Act, 1996 (reference 2009 T326). See also Portable Antiquities Scheme (reference SUSS-8F5EFO). Supplied with British Museum report and correspondence, extract from PAS record, Treasure Act valuation document.
