Description:
Circa 13th century AD. A medieval single-stone gold ring; the single cabochon sapphire mounted directly into the stirrup-shaped hoop.

Measurements:
Gold, 3.30 grams, 26.14 mm; 19.99 x 18.70 mm internal (approx. UK size T; USA size 9.75; EU size 21.26; Japan size 20.5).

Condition:
Extremely fine.

Rings of this type were worn by high status individuals during the reigns of Henry III (1216-1272) and Edward I (1272-1307).
