Circa 2nd century AD. Hollow cast lioness mount, standing on a flat integral base, with caricature snarling features, supporting a human mask of a barbarian male wearing a Phrygian cap.

Measurements:
65mm wide.

Condition:
Very fine with slight loss to the edges of the human face.

Old English collection.
