Description:
Septimius Severus. 200 AD. Laodicea. Obv: laureate head right with PL SEPT SEV AVG IMP XI PART MA-X legend. Rev: Fides standing left, holding plate of fruit in right hand, grain ears in left with MAX T-R P VIII COS II P P legend. With: Severus Alexander. 232 AD. Rome mint. Obv: laureate head right with IMP ALEXANDER PIVS AVG legend. Rev: Jupiter standing front, head right, naked but for cloak flowing out to left, hurling thunderbolt and holding eagle with IOVI PROPVGNATORI legend.

Measurements:
3.47 and 2.46 grams.

Condition:
Very fine and better.

Severus Alexander: RIC describes this reverse as "walking left with thunderbolt and eagle".
