3rd century AD. A fine and delicate gold necklace of 19 natural garnet beads on gold wires with 'dumb-bell' gold wire links; the terminals forming the gold wire hook-and-eye fastener.

Measurements:
7.67 grams, 480 mm long.

Condition:
Extremely fine. Most attractive.

Provenance:
Ex Coombe collection.
