Description:
Circa 1st century - 2nd century AD. A two-tiered Terra Sigillata bowl or cup set on a flat ring base with rounded lip; with the maker's mark stamped internally.
Measurements:
235 grams, 128 mm wide (5 inches).
Condition:
Chip to rim otherwise fine. Rare, with certain 19th century provenance.
Provenance:
From an old English collection, with old collection label dated 1837 attached. Found Limburg.
