Description:
Circa 2nd century AD. A single-handled pottery jug with painted ornament; the body flat-bottomed with tall, narrow and tapered neck; a single handle affixed to the body; the body and neck each with three lines of black decoration.
Measurements:
4.1 Kg; 320 mm tall (12.5 inches).
Condition:
Fine, uncleaned condition; some minor surface accretions.
Provenance:
From an old English collection.
