Description:
A blackened Bidriware pot with fluted lower section and ribbed upper band; the base flat with inlaid lozenge of arabesque ornament inlaid with four interlaced silver sphinxes; the fluted bands with inlaid silver human figures in opposed pairs on an arabesque field, interlace motif below and calligraphic panel above; to the equator, a raised band with inlaid silver guilloche; the upper band an arabesque field with an inlaid Qu'ranic prayer of blessing and luck in Kufic calligraphic script, each character with a human face to the ascender; the rim slightly everted.
