VICTORIA - GOTHIC FLORIN - 1885 (MDCCCLXXXV)
(11.30 grams.).

Dated 1885. Gothic type, dies ↑↓. Obv: with 'Victoria d:g:britt:reg:f:d:mdccclxxx' legend in black letter. Rev: crowned cruciform shields with symbols in angles and 'One florin' and 'one tenth of a pound' legends in black letter. Uncirculated, toned.

PROVENANCE:
Part of an 1885 gold/silver year set recovered from beneath a foundation stone in Chatham some forty years ago (see other lots for the rest of these coins).
