Our 27-30 May 2015 printed catalogue sale is now complete and open for absentee bidding here:
Live internet bidding and absentee bidding will be available from this sale onwards through our own system but there is no additional registration requirement for existing bidders. In tandem with this development, our own bidding system, together with Sixbid, The Saleroom.com and LiveAuctioneers are now all available to bidders free of additional charge. Although our buyer’s premium has increased, bidding with TimeLine Auctions is still more economical than with all other major auction houses offering antiquities, and the same as most leading coin auctions held in the UK.
Purchasers who use our website for absentee bidding will see that there have been several enhancements to the account management functions available. Once logged in with your unique username and password, you may access the ‘My Account’ feature. Within this is a menu including: ‘My Bids’ which facilitates placing new bids and reviewing the progress of existing ones, and a ‘Watch List’ where lots of special interest can be monitored. In ‘My Invoices’ you can check and print locally your purchase history, invoice payment status, export licence application details (where required) and its current status, shipping progress and tracking details. ‘My Details’ is a summary of the account user’s contact and other details. The provision of these features is intended to make purchasing through TimeLine Auctions a secure, transparent and enjoyable process. Watch for further enhancements to the system in the coming months, including a further range of account functions for buyers and sellers.
