C. 1009-1017 AD. BMC type i. Obv: diademed bust left with AETHELRED REX ANGLO legend. Rev: small cross at centre with +ODA ON PINCESTRE legend for the moneyer Oda at Winchester. 1.31 grams.

Good very fine with attractive cabinet tone.
