ROMAN - BRONZE EAGLE WITH WREATH

Circa 3rd century AD. An eagle sitting on a perch, holding a laurel wreath in its beak; the perch set into a plinth on a stepped base with a fixing hole in each corner. 58mm tall. Very fine.
