ROMAN EMPIRE - VALENTINIAN II - SILIQUA

375-378 AD. Trier. Obv: pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right with DN VALENTINIANVS IVN PF AVG legend. Rev: Victory advancing left,
holding wreath and palm. Mintmark TRPS in exergue with VICTOR-IA AVGGG legend. 2.03 grams.

Condition
Good very fine.

Provenance
from the Filey, Yorkshire Hoard, 2009 (disclaimed under Treasure Act, 1996, reference 2009:T286). With the British Museum annotated coin envelope (numbered 5) and a copy of the BM disclaiming letter dated 10th September 2009.
